This is me going through Article One of the Constitution of the United States.
This is not me thinking that my Opinion is worth anything.
This is just me going through Article One and saying what comes to my mind.
I am not going to mention any part of Article One that does not come to my mind.
Know what I mean?

Section 8 of Article One has a lot in it.
I thought as I read through Section 8 that it seems that the Founding Fathers
were in a hurry - maybe they knew that the Constitution was Good and they
just wanted to include all the things that they felt were important - but not
necessarily in the exact right order.
I didn't know what Post Roads were but wondered if that meant the Pony Express.
It says: To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the
subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States. I didn't get why those two
thoughts were connected in the same place - as they didn't seem to have a connection -
to me.
I don't know what Marque and Reprisal means when they talk about:
To delcar War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules
concerning Captures on Land and Water.
This is something that really spoke to me:
To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use
shall be for a longer Term than two years.
That means to me that they were saying that they hoped that War - the purpose
of having Armies - would not be something dominant or long lasting in the United States.
There were other terms that I didn't understand - buy really the thing about
not wanting to appropriate money for more than two years was the most
important thing I got out of all of Article One.

I would welcome any correction or discussion on this - especially from anyone
who has studied the Constitution or just has an Opinion.
Thanks.
I miss the "letters of marque". I'd go after Somali pirates with them.
